Tom was Head of the European Securitised Equity Derivative and Secondary Market Trading teams at Citigroup between 2005 and 2008, Mr May was responsible for a team trading all securitised derivative products on both primary and secondary markets. Mr May was instrumental in establishing Citigroup as a leader in both primary market innovation and secondary market trading for the UK private placement market. Prior to this, he was part of the Structured Equity Derivatives Trading team at Citi, with specific responsibility for Constant Proportion Portfolio Insurance and Delta 1 Trading.
Andy joined Citigroup in early 2005 to build out the Structured Product business to UK asset managers. Working with Russell Catley he was responsible for the sales and service of the Symphony preference share series. Andrew is also well regarded for his specialist derivatives product training, having delivered programmes for many of the larger discretionary asset management firms over the last few years.
Prior to joining Citigroup, Andrew worked for AXA IM as Investment Sales Manager for London and the South East. Prior to this, he was responsible for strategic alliances at Threadneedle Investments. Andrew started his career in sales at John Govett in the early 90's, who specialised in closed end funds as well as derivative based open ended funds.

Russell was previously Head of UK & Ireland Retail Equity Derivatives at Citigroup, joining in early 2004. Together with Andrew Lakeman, he successfully established Citigroup as a leader in the provision of private placement structured investments to institutional and professional asset managers in the UK. Along with Andrew and Tom, Russell has been a constant presence in the institutional structured products market in the UK, since its inception in the early 2000s.
Prior to joining Citigroup, Russell was Director of Retail Sales at AXA Investment Managers, with responsibility for the sales of proprietary retail investment funds, multimanager and alternative investment products from AXA Group companies and Alliance Capital Management. Russell's appointment with AXA in 1999 was preceded by 1 year in institutional asset management and 11 years in pensions and investment consultancy.

Charlie was previously the Chief Investment Officer at Newscape from 2016 to 2018. He oversaw the assets and managed the Diversified Growth Fund. He restructured the fund with a new investment process, while keeping the portfolio diversified and the volatility low. Over the two years under his tenure, fund assets grew to Â£11m from a standing start, with gross performance at the top of its peer group. Charlie continues to manage the fund at Atlantic House under contract.
Prior to that, Charlie was the Head of Absolute Return at HSBC Global Asset Management, which he joined in 1998 freshly out of the army. He co-founded the Absolute Return Service in 2002, which grew assets to in excess of USD 3 billion across a multi-asset range of portfolios. The ability to combine asset classes in the early 2000s was highly effective. Charlie evolved the process post 2008 to focus on factor investing as asset classes became more correlated. Shortly after joining HSBC, Charlie built a risk-management system to oversee the wealth management division and ensured the firm was the first among competitors to have online access to client portfolios.
Prior to joining AHFM, Fahad worked at Legal and General for 11 years, where he ran over $1 billion in institutional and retail mandates.
Fahad then co-managed the Newscape Diversified Growth Fund. Fahad is a CFA Institute charter-holder and has a deep understanding of industry structure, style factor investing and monetary economics.
Russ has worked in a variety of corporate and investment banking roles since 1997 and is an expert in complex financial products, mathematical modelling and risk management. He has personally structured and executed over £20 billion of deals, has a deep understanding of both financial and mathematical issues and is able to communicate these clearly and simply to the layperson. He has a keen insight into investor psychology and experience creating innovative products to meet the needs of different types of investors from large corporations to individuals.
As well as his mainstream finance activities, Russ is a well-known figure in the social impact investing space, working with civil society organizations to help them to move forward their social investment strategies. Russ holds an award-winning PhD in computer science.
Jim is a Chartered Certified Accountant, having previously worked in private practice for 8 years where he focussed on SMEs and audit. Jim joined Catley Lakeman as Financial Controller in February 2016.
As well as managing the finances and supporting the compliance function, Jim also assists Tom May in managing the Defined Returns Fund and US Enhanced Equity Fund.
